We understand some consignors may feel strongly about certain items they drop off, and we realize this is a subjective call on our part. We select items based on current trends and what we know our customers will be looking for, so please take a few minutes to read over our FAQ's to familiarize yourself with our guidelines before bringing any items to us for consignment.
On Walk-In Wednesdays, as the name suggests, no appointment is needed. So if you have 20 or fewer items to consign, feel free to “walk in” to Plum on a Wednesday, anytime between 10 am and 7 pm with your items folded neatly in a bag (No hangers or shoe boxes please). We do ask that you remain in the store while we take a few minutes to go through your items and we will give back any items that we are unable to accept. **1st time consignors, please print, fill out and bring a contract with you.
Our newest timesaving option without an item number limit is Drop & Go. You simply “drop” off your items, folded neatly in a bag and “go.” [Please note – we will not accept clothes on/in hangers, cardboard boxes, plastic bins, or organic spinach containers.] Existing consignors can just print a Drop & Go ticket and securely attach it to your bag. If you are consigning with Plum for the first time, however, please print both a contract and Drop & Go ticket, fill them out and securely attach both to your bag. Stop by Plum anytime during normal business hours and mention that you are doing a Drop & Go and we'll handle the rest.
We're sorry but we are unable to give back any boxes, bags or containers that you bring in for Drop & Go, so please plan accordingly.
What does Plum do with unaccepted items?
Any items found to be stained, damaged, overly worn or not the style we know our customers will want, will be donated to local charities. You will receive an email with the items that we were able to accept within 7 days of your drop off.
